Spending the weekend during the summer holidays, painting a mural in the reception/year 1 classroom. Mainly to cover up a badly painted wall but also to create a welcoming space for children starting school. Talking to the teachers in the school, I learnt about what colours the children interact with and how they enjoy learning.

Helping the company complete an interactive installation, commissioned by a museum within a tight deadline. I learnt many collaborative and communication skills as well as new practical ones, such as needle felting and oiling. The project also taught me to experiment with practicality and aesthetic because the target demographic comes first.
